Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Deputy Program Manager joining our team to support our DOD customer in Springfield, VA. HOW A DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Advance the Mission. Empower the Future. Join GDIT and help shape mission-critical solutions as a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) supporting the U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC). You will be instrumental in driving the delivery and optimization of enterprise IT services, ensuring the success of AGC's digital modernization and operational readiness. As Deputy PM on the Geospatial Services and Solutions team, you will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure successful planning, coordination, and execution of evolving IT and mission demands. How You'll Make an Impact: * Support the day-to-day leadership and coordination of program activities aligned with AGC priorities and objectives. * Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop and execute strategic roadmaps that align with business goals and mission requirements. * Ensure timely and effective management of new customer requirements, projects, and taskings. * Monitor project timelines, performance metrics, budgets, and risks to ensure delivery on time and within scope. * Promote collaboration across technical and business teams, fostering a cohesive team culture and communication flow. * Assist in the hiring and development of high-performing technical staff. * Prepare high-level briefings, reports, and updates for stakeholders and leadership. * Lead process improvement efforts to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and improve client outcomes. * Apply independent judgment on complex assignments requiring originality and innovation. What You'll Bring: * Proven ability to manage and support complex technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines. * Experience managing processes and deliverables under fast-paced conditions. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with executive leadership. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
