Job Description

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned products and markets based on historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve demand planning issues.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain reports to track and communicate demand planning performance.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in demand planning.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s) by analyzing internal capacity and developing plans to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements.
• Track change orders with supply planning, operations engineering, manufacturing, warehouse, and field service personnel to ensure timely implementation of requirements.
• Operate forecasting software and supporting systems as directed to support the forecast process.
• Collect data on performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery to support key supplier scorecards and business reviews.
• Maintain forecasts and assist in the implementation of forecast improvements.
• Prepare monthly reports and demand management projects.
• Research statistical models to develop forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of demand and supply plans.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in developing and maintaining demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s).
