About the Role

AIA is seeking Database Engineer to design & build mission-critical data pipelines with a highly scalable distributed architecture, to provide standards, technical guidance and best practices to the team in the delivery of projects and AI / Analytics use cases. To organize and maintain different layers of data within the organization to allow access to internal / external parties that add value to the customers and to the business. The position collaborates with members of the Data Governance & Analytics team and other teams in the organization to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of data flow.

Key Roles & Responsibility:

• Design, build and maintain highly scalable pipeline (end-to-end) for large volumes of complex data processing and analysis within a cloud-based and/or prem-based ecosystem.
• Maintain standard data definition and dictionary to ensure data quality, consistency and robustness in tracking and reporting processes.
• Ensure high data integrity and quality from various data sources that are aligned to industry best practices.
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights for analytics.
• Monitor performance and continuously improve the infrastructure within the data / analytics ecosystem.
• Clearly articulate pros and cons of different technologies, solutions and platforms based on different use cases.
• Document use cases, solutions and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree with 5 years in related field of experience.
• Solid experience and knowledge on On-Prem Platform & Azure Cloud Platform (or any of the major cloud solution providers such as AWS, Azure, AliCloud) for data pipelines implementations and deployment of AI / Analytics models.
• Proven knowledge & delivery working with structured & unstructured data with a diverse set of data technologies: Informatica, Databricks, Azure Data Factory & etc.
• High fluency in Python, SQL or equivalent and experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka & etc.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub & GitLab.
• Good communication skill in English & Indonesia.
