We’re looking for a talented Data Scientist to be part of our collaborative and innovative team based in Espoo, where you’ll have the opportunity to quickly develop your skills and make meaningful contributions from day one.


Your Impact


You’ll have direct ownership of critical AI models and data pipelines, working with diverse and exciting data sources such as LiDAR point clouds, satellite imagery, and aerial photography. Your creativity will directly shape our solutions, enhancing existing models and developing cutting-edge AI products for sustainable forest management.

In this role, you'll:


  • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of innovative machine learning models—from development to deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to transform complex data into valuable insights.
  • Explore and apply new technologies and methodologies in remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and AI.
  • Create practical, scalable data products that impact real-world forestry operations.
  • Provide technical support and insights to our sales and product teams.

 

What You Bring


Essentials

  • Strong foundation in data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience using machine learning frameworks.
  • Solid experience with SQL and data manipulation.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with cloud services, DevOps, or MLOps practices.
  • Experience or interest in geospatial analytics or remote sensing (LiDAR, satellite imagery).
  • Background or enthusiasm for forestry, GIS, or environmental sciences.

 

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree (or PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative fields.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
