Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Modeller or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques and tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner).

• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and OLTP databases.

• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the application development team to understand data requirements and translate them into data models.

• Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models for the mortgage portal.

• Ensure data models support the extraction and transformation of data from the enterprise data warehouse.

• Implement data models in the application database (OLTP) and ensure nightly deployments.

• Optimize and tune data models for performance and scalability.

• Document data models, data flows, and data dictionaries.

• Work closely with database administrators to ensure data integrity and security.

• Participate in semi-agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Provide support and guidance to the development team on data-related issues.

• Ensure related Policies, Standards and procedure are fit for purpose, current, and correctly implemented.
