Our client is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join their Melbourne-based team. Reporting to the Data Management Lead, you will collaborate closely with business and technology teams to support the existing data landscape to ensure that the internal data warehouse is well maintained and that data quality issues are reduced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data quality by identifying and resolving issues within the data warehouse and key source systems.
• Manage master data and support exception requests from business users
• Oversee data management activities with external providers, ensuring alignment with organisational needs.
• Develop data management document specific to data lineage, data mapping and other procedures
• Lead data analysis and mapping efforts to support data warehouse improvements and data normalisation.
• Collaborate with IT teams and key stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives and system enhancements.

Your skillset:

• Proven experience in data management, data governance or data analysis roles.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
• Understanding of database, data warehouse and data modelling concepts
• Strong data quality, data validation and data profiling experience
• Ability to build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders.
