Job Title: Data Platform/Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform or Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform team and drive the strategic evolution of the team and platform. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of data professionals to build a center of excellence and delivering high-quality data solutions to empower our business with data.

Requirements:

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in a data platform or engineering management role

- Proven track record of leading and managing a centralized data team

- Experience working with key stakeholders to deliver high-value data solutions

 Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

- Lead and manage a team of data professionals to build a center of excellence

- Mentor and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Strategic Evolution

- Drive the strategic evolution of the Data Platform team and platform

- Develop and implement a roadmap to ensure the team and platform are aligned with business goals and objectives

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs

Delivery and Operations

- Ensure all work is delivered to high technical and operational standards

- Manage and prioritize projects and initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions

 Hands-on Engineering

- Provide hands-on engineering support to the team as needed

- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement data solutions

Skills:

- Strong technical skills in data engineering, data architecture, and data management

- Experience with data platforms, data warehousing, and data governance

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross- functional teams and stakeholders
