This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented Data & AI team as a Data Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge data solutions for our diverse range of clients. You'll be immersed in the dynamic world of cloud data, primarily focusing on designing, developing, and managing robust end-to-end data migration strategies within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Your work will directly contribute to our clients' success by ensuring their data is accessible, reliable, and ready for analysis.
Working collaboratively within supportive, cross-functional project teams, you will leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) to build and optimise sophisticated data pipelines. This includes implementing both full and incremental data loads, handling complex scheduling, and ensuring seamless execution with proactive monitoring. A key part of your role involves guaranteeing the highest standards of data quality through meticulous transformation, cleansing, and validation processes, developing efficient ETL logic, and implementing checks to safeguard data integrity.
You'll be a technical problem-solver, adept at implementing resilient error-handling and troubleshooting data flow issues related to processing or connectivity. Your deep understanding of SQL Server within Azure will be crucial as you develop complex queries and stored procedures, optimise database models, and support data warehousing initiatives. Furthermore, you'll manage large datasets effectively using Azure Storage solutions like Blob and ADLS Gen2, always ensuring secure and efficient data handling. Partnering closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders, you'll ensure solutions meet requirements, conduct thorough testing, maintain clear documentation, and champion data engineering best practices.
