Our leading FMCG client is looking for a Data Engineer to join its central Data & Analytics team. The role focuses on designing and building scalable data infrastructure to support insights, automation, and decision-making across a global operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Integrate and manage data from diverse sources to ensure high data quality and availability.
• Optimize data performance and scalability, supporting real-time and batch workloads.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Implement automation and DataOps practices to drive efficiency and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft BI tools (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, data modelling (Kimball), and metadata frameworks.
• Expertise in Power BI (DAX, M language, performance optimization).
• Familiarity with ERP modules and integrated business processes (finance, supply chain, sales, QA).
• Degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant cloud/data certifications preferred.
