The Government Transparency Institute is a non-partisan think tank founded in 2015 by Mihály Fazekas, focusing on independent research and advocacy on transparency, corruption, and government quality. The Institute uses an interdisciplinary approach drawing on political science, economics, law, and data science to explore government behavior. With financing from private donations, European research funds, and government contracts, the Institute aims to aid citizens in holding governments accountable through data-driven analysis and policy solutions.
This is a full-time hybrid Data Engineer role located in Budapest, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Data Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics to support the Institute's research and advocacy efforts.
