Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL queries for the Snowflake platform
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to post-implementation support, including reviewing and finalizing business requirements, creating functional specifications/system designs, and ensuring the solution meets business needs and expectations
• Develop new transformation processes for data loading from source to target or optimize existing code for better performance
• Analyze existing designs and interfaces, making design modifications or enhancements as needed
• Write and document data processing scripts and stored procedures
• Provide business insights and analysis for ad-hoc data requests
• Maintain reporting transparency by delivering regular updates on project or task status
• Provide periodic weekend support for deployments
• Take ownership of and resolve production issues as they arise
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with the technical analysis and design, development and implementation of data warehousing solutions
• Strong SQL programming and stored procedure development skills
• Good understanding of Data warehousing and dimensional modelling
• Process oriented, focused on standardization, streamlining, and implementation of best practices delivery approach
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding/experience in any cloud platform (Experience in Snowflake is a plus

• Python/UNIX Shell scripting experience to support data warehousing solutions
• Experience in optimizing large data loads
• Should be a good Team player
• Exposure to an Agile Development environment would be a plus.
