We're a leading provider of data center solutions, serving both local and international enterprises. We're seeking a highly skilled Data Center Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in Mechanical, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Cooling (MVAC) systems.

Job Summary

As a Data Center Design Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing efficient MVAC systems for our data centers. You'll work independently with minimal supervision, leveraging your expertise to deliver high-quality designs that meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive MVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and cooling solutions for data centers
• Familiarity with critical data center infrastructure, such as:
• Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC)
• Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH)
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
• Central chiller plant system
• Backup power generators
• Prepare and review detailed design documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEAMLESS integration of MVAC systems with other data center components
• Conduct site surveys and analyze existing conditions to inform design decisions
• Develop and maintain accurate records of design calculations, drawings, and specifications
  

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing MVAC systems for data centers or similar mission-critical facilities
• Strong understanding of fundamental MVAC principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience working with computational fluid dynamics CFD software will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
