The role

Join this market leading business as a Data Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping their data landscape! Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you will be at the forefront of delivering the department’s vision through agile process development and lifecycle management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to define, design, and maintain a cutting-edge data architecture that encompasses data integration processes, business intelligence systems, and robust database solutions.

Your key responsibility will be to provide technical coordination, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex BI solutions for the organization across the project lifecycle. You will translate conceptual data models into practical, physical models, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity across the organization.

In addition to architecture design, you will engage in project planning, working closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and transform them into powerful data solutions. Your ability to analyze these requirements will be crucial in developing frameworks that not only meet immediate needs but also align with our long-term strategic goals. You will provide technical guidance in deploying complex BI solutions, ensuring that our data systems are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly.

As an expert in data quality, you will strive to enhance data organization and accuracy throughout the organization. This involves troubleshooting performance issues, monitoring data integrity, and implementing best practices to uphold high standards across all data initiatives. You will create automated processes for large-scale data analyses, facilitating the accommodation of data into our systems and ensuring that our data lakes and warehouses are optimized for performance.

Additionally

• You have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a comparable role.

• You have a keen interest and extensive expertise in data services (Microsoft Azure/Snowflake).

• You have familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.

• You have proven data modelling skills.

• You have proficiency in English, spoken and written - an additional language is beneficial.
