Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data architecture solutions.

•⁠ ⁠Data Integration: Design and implement data integration processes using ETL tools and APIs.

•⁠ ⁠Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures, including deep experience with Microsoft Purview, data catalog management, data classification, labeling, and metadata policies and configuration.

•⁠ ⁠Database Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.

•⁠ ⁠Collaboration: Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of data solutions.

•⁠ ⁠Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.

•⁠ ⁠Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and policies.

•⁠ ⁠Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

•⁠ ⁠Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and recommend improvements.

•⁠ ⁠Project Estimation: Estimate data projects from a development perspective and assess ongoing cloud costs associated with the solution.

•⁠ ⁠Business Intelligence: Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau, including creating reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related role.

•⁠ ⁠Technical Skills: Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing.

•⁠ ⁠Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric.

•⁠ ⁠Third-Party Data Platforms: Experience with third-party data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Informatica.

•⁠ ⁠Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

•⁠ ⁠Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a desire to lead, and a positive attitude.

•⁠ ⁠Language Skills: Fluency in English written and verbal.

•⁠ ⁠Certifications: Relevant certifications in data architecture or cloud platforms are a plus.
