Role Brief

AdvantageGo is actively seeking a Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience in data analysis, combined with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, AWS cloud services, and cloud-based integration solutions, along with a proven track record in automation strategy and performance optimization - bringing both the technical depth and collaborative mindset needed to drive intelligent business outcomes and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Model Development: Design and implement data pipelines, analyse large datasets, and create machine learning and AI models to drive product improvements and business insights
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, and product) to define data requirements, enhance the SaaS product, and improve user experiences.
• Data Integration: Integrate data sources and work with cloud-based data storage and processing tools, especially within Azure environments
• Performance Optimisation: Leverage data science techniques to monitor and optimize the performance of SaaS applications. Analyse key metrics and identify patterns for business growth
• Automation & Deployment: Build automated processes for continuous data integration and model deployment using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Reporting & Visualisation: Create data visualisations and dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others
• Cloud Infrastructure: Develop data-driven solutions leveraging Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of all data processes

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis with exposure to large-scale, cloud-based applications.
• Cloud Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of Cloud Integration Services across both Azure and AWS environments.
• Azure DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services including Pipelines, Repos, and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Automation Strategy: Demonstrated ability in automation solutioning, including designing and implementing scalable, automated data processes.
• AWS Cloud Services: Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud Post, AWS EBS, and experience deploying or maintaining applications in the AWS ecosystem.
• Planning, Protection, and Optimization (PPO): Experience applying PPO methodologies to improve cloud infrastructure reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Programming Knowledge: Proficient in Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks. Familiarity with R or Java is a plus.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation: Proven ability to design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for data and analytics projects.
• Data Storage & Processing: Familiarity with cloud-native storage solutions such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, and AWS S3.
• Visualization & Reporting Tools: Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense for stakeholder engagement.
• Agile Methodology: Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum teams and environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
