Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Architect / Data Quality Analyst to lead and support the design, modeling, and governance of enterprise data architecture and workflows. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems by collaborating closely with global data stakeholders, including the Data Quality Organization in Paris.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Deliverables:

  • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models
  • Design and execute data workflows and data architecture
  • Generate data profiling reports, quality control documentation, and audits
  • Establish and document data definitions, taxonomies, hierarchies, and lineage
  • Provide data cleansing services and perform root cause analysis for data defects
  • Implement and support meta-data management and master data governance strategies

Core Activities:

  • Conduct data audits and detailed data design assessments
  • Define and apply business rules to master/reference data
  • Analyze and profile datasets to assess and improve quality
  • Design and operationalize data quality management procedures
  • Collaborate with business and data governance teams on data initiatives
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and best practices

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools
  • Expert knowledge in data modeling (logical & physical), including ER diagrams, normalization/denormalization, data dictionaries, and agile modeling
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
  • Experience with ETL tools, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools
  • Strong understanding of metadata and master data management solutions
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, VBA, XML) is a strong advantage
  • Experience managing scientific data or highly structured datasets is preferred

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering data solutions in a team setting
  • Prior success working in global environments or across time zones

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.02 to $57.80 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
