Data Analytics Specialist - In-house Analytics Platform

My client is a leading technology company in Japan that has developed a proprietary access log analytics platform. Their solution enables data-driven decision making across multiple business units and is expanding to serve external clients throughout Japan.

Position Overview

Seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to join their Analytics Support team. You'll work directly with users of their platform, providing expert guidance on implementing analytics tags and extracting valuable insights from user behavior data.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for analytics platform users
• Troubleshoot data-related issues across web and mobile platforms
• Create and deliver insightful analysis reports
• Collaborate with development teams on analytics tag implementation
• Guide clients through analytics SDK integration processes

Ideal skills:

• 5+ years experience in analytics platform development or similar role
• Proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Strong SQL skills and Python experience for log analysis
• Technical foundation in Shell scripting, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• English proficiency (TOEIC 800+) and basic Japanese language skills

Good-to-have:

• Analytics tag implementation experience (web/mobile)
• ETL pipeline knowledge and experience
• Advanced SQL (analytical functions, CTEs)
• GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataform)
• Digital marketing background
