Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Analyst to provide technical support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Quantico. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer requirements for IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI data modules, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist with IBM Cognos security and administration functions.
• Design, develop and maintain various interactive reports.
  
  

Qualifications

4+ years experience using Microsoft Power BI and at least 2 years experience using IBM Cognos Analytics and Administration. Cognos Analytics software or a similar program. Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired. Must be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements). Cognos Analytics Security and Administration certification a plus. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos. Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships. Experience building data models and developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. Experience with a trouble ticket system such as Remedy or ServiceNow. Must have experience with applying STIGs. Knowledge of Oracle databases. Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desired. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently and with a team. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
