Octopai (By Cloudera) is seeking a talented and motivated Data Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help optimize Octopai’s data operations by creating efficient data environments and processes to derive value from analytics. Your responsibilities will range from data analysis and research, understanding customer data architecture, and providing guidance and support to other piers as a Data Services.

As a Data Analyst you will....

  • Plan, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures aligned with business requirements.
  • Optimize data workflows by identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and improving development and deployment processes.
  • Understanding and translating customer’s requirements and data architecture, to a design request.
  • Collaborate with support engineers to enhance the Octopai application.
  • Design and implement environments and processes for effective data management.
  • Improve data reliability and automate manual processes, including data extraction, testing, and integrity.
  • Perform testing at every stage of the data pipeline, including:
    • Unit tests: Testing individual components.
    • Performance tests: Evaluating system responsiveness.
    • End-to-end tests: Validating the entire pipeline.


We are excited if you have...

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst
  • Information System engineer degree or equivalent
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, with strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Databases, and SQL scripts.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Creative thinker with innovative, out-of-the-box problem-solving skills.


You may also have...

  • Familiarity with BI Systems.
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT process development.
