Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer with expertise in D365 Finance and Operations to develop and deliver high-quality training materials and programs for our finance teams. This hybrid contract role offers the flexibility to work both from home and in our Sydney office, ensuring a balance of remote work and in-person collaboration. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency and improving user adoption by creating tailored, engaging, and effective learning content focused on D365 Finance & Operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs and materials for the D365 Finance and Operations module, focusing on finance processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into structured training content.
  • Create user-friendly training guides, eLearning modules, instructor-led materials, and assessments.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to empower internal teams to effectively support D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and finance teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Support ongoing system updates and user training for continuous improvement in finance operations.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong focus on finance-related training.
  • Expertise in designing training content for D365 Finance and Operations, with a deep understanding of its finance modules.
  • Strong background in finance processes and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand training materials.
  • Excellent knowledge of instructional design methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to develop both self-paced eLearning and instructor-led training programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in a contract role and familiarity with hybrid working setups is highly desirable.
