Key responsibilities
- Design and review for potential improvements IAM solutions, processes, framework, and guidelines in line with the cybersecurity and IT strategy and policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Support with the implementation of IAM lifecycle management processes (e.g. user provisions, password management, access management, access reviews etc.)
- Identify and evaluate solution risks and participate in defining mitigation and control activities
- Design and oversee the integration of IAM systems into existing applications
- Ensure the implementation of IAM policies and processes that contribute to the global IAM strategy are embedded in the design of IAM solutions
- Test and audit IAM products for their compliance with security policies and standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide input on the capability and product roadmap with measurable metrics to efficiently reach target state of the IAM solution architecture to the Product Owner and Capability Lead
- Consult internal stakeholders on overall portfolio and investment plans based on the roadmap
- Support Enterprise and IAM Domain architecture to provide input into strategic roadmap and enterprise architecture
- Stay updated on relevant IAM landscape developments and technological trends and incorporate those to improve the defined target state and roadmap
- Translate business requirements into the IAM solution architecture
- Create high level and detail level design patterns
- Design future proof and scalable IAM solutions
- Comply with vendor strategy guidelines
- Ensure license efficiency
- Consult with peer group on integration of solutions to applications
- Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing solution and feedback to the solution design and/or enterprise architect
- Incorporate relevant market and technology trends in solution design
- Provide architecture consultation and guidance to engineers developing/installing IAM products
- Provide technical oversight for all the IAM solution architects
- Cultivate knowledge of IAM solution best practices, for example by taking part in guilds concerning architecture to spread best practices and knowledge
- Ensure all security and compliance aspects are taken into account in the solution architecture
- Review IAM solution design periodically and ensure their alignment with the organization architecture standards, policies, and procedures
- Design (local) architecture patterns on product-level and update for any changes resulting from product improvements and taking into account all security and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Owners, and Service Delivery Managers to guard the overall IAM architecture
- (On call) availability to support in remediation/trouble shooting in case of major incidents.
Must Have Skills/Knowledge:
- Demonstrated In-depth knowledge and understanding of IAM concepts and best practices
- Knowledge of IAM landscape, trends, and emerging technologies
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple complex technology programs on time and within budget
- Experience proposing and implementing wide architecture initiatives
- Understanding of relevant security and regulatory requirements (such as GDPR)
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with IAM standards
- Experience with working with outsource partners
Authentication Solution Architect
- Experience with SSO, Federation, MFA and certificate services
Directory services Solution Architect
- Experience with Azure AD, on-prem AD, Active Directory Federation services and conditional access
Life Cycle and password mgmt. services Solution Architect
- Experience with Saviynt, Windows password manager, password reset and change password services
Compliance and group mgmt. Solution Architect
- Experience with compliance and group mgmt. solutions
Security Solution Architect
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM), CyberArk and Azure PIM solutions
Factory Solution Architect
- Experience with testing and provisioning activities (Saviynt and Azure AD)
Experience with the factory approach
Preferred Experience Range:
- Bachelor: >8 years of relevant and technical work experience in a large organization
- Master: 6-8 years of relevant experience
