We are working with our leading client in their search for a SharePoint Customer Engineer to join them on a 12 month extendable contract.


You will visit customers to train them and share your industry and development expertise. By building strong customer relationships, you will ensure that our deliveries align with customer projects and milestones.

Technical Expertise:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

  • SharePoint Architecture / Topology - REQUIRED
  • SharePoint Development (.Net and good knowledge of SharePoint Framework) - REQUIRED
  • SharePoint Troubleshooting skills - REQUIRED
  • SharePoint Service Applications
  • SharePoint Authentication Providers
  • SharePoint (Zero downtime) patching
  • SharePoint Basics (e.g., creating sites, lists, managing permissions)
  • SharePoint Disaster Recovery scenarios
  • Upgrading between SharePoint versions
  • Managing, maintaining, and migrating Enterprise SharePoint Server
  • Scaling Enterprise SharePoint environments
  • Configuring SharePoint Hybrid solutions
  • Migrating to SharePoint Online

Desirable Skills:

  • Active Directory (Domains, Trusts, Forest, LDAP, Kerberos)
  • AD Security (Groups, Permission, Logon, Authentication)
  • Protocols (Understanding of network traffic, Packets, frames, TCP/IP)
  • Tools (Netmon, Fiddler)
  • Windows Tools (MMC, perfmon, event viewer, Regedit)
  • IIS Experience with troubleshooting tools (IIS logs, event viewer, TaskManager, Perfmon, Sysinternal tools, Windbg)
  • IIS Architecture (Architecture, HTTP Protocol, IIS Logging, SMTP, SSL, IIS Bindings, ISAPI Filters, HTTP Handlers, and HTTP Modules)
  • SQL Server
  • DNS
  • Understanding how Microsoft 365 platform components interact with SharePoint Online
