This company is a leading provider of security solutions assisting organizations in strengthening their security posture while optimizing their M365 environments. We are seeking a M365 Security Engineer to join them as a hands-on technical expert, capable of designing, configuring, and maintaining M365 security tools while integrating them into broader security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Designing, advising, configuring, and managing M365 security tools, including Intune, Defender for Cloud & Endpoint, Purview, and Sentinel.
• Securing devices and applications through Intune, while enforcing robust email security practices with Defender.
• Implementing Azure Information Protection policies to strengthen data governance and regulatory compliance.
• Integrating security solutions within existing infrastructure and SIEM platforms like Sentinel to optimize threat detection.
• Overseeing M365 server operations to support security functions and ensure system resilience.
• Developing Conditional Access policies and Zero Trust security strategies within M365 and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Applying best practices for compliance and governance, including ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and NIST frameworks.
• Automating security configurations using PowerShell and KQL to enhance efficiency and scalability.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Extensive expertise in M365 security tools, including Defender, Intune, Sentinel, Purview, and Azure Information Protection.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing security policies at the tenant level.
• Hands-on ability to implement security tools within existing infrastructure and integrate them with SIEM solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, KQL, and automation for efficient security management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and best practices in M365 security governance.
• Expertise in Zero Trust security models and the development of Conditional Access policies.
