This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cyber Security Engineer located in the San Francisco Bay Area, with some work from home acceptable. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect applications, networks, and information systems. Tasks will include conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. The role also involves collaborating with different teams to develop and enforce security best practices.

• Application Security skills including secure software development and code review
• Cybersecurity and Information Security skills including threat analysis and security protocol implementation
• Network Security skills including firewall management and intrusion detection
• Experience conducting Vulnerability Assessments and implementing remediation plans
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with various teams
• Experience with compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI-DSS is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous
