One of our Direct client is looking for a Junior Security Engineer in Houston TX

Position: Junior Security Engineer

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Location: Houston TX (Hybrid Role)

• Provide engineering support for projects including design, implementation, testing, and support for new deployments, expansions, environment refresh and upgrades; this includes troubleshooting customer environments

• Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of Splunk dashboard and alert development

• Provide support for security incident response and alerting from Splunk

• Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications

• Provide peer reviews of implementations, configurations, and documentation for team members

• Assists other team members with deployment or best practices

• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of new and emerging technologies

• Obtain vendor-related certifications to enhance professional development
