They will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to collect data, conduct surveys, and perform inspections. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drones during various field operations. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of drone technology, piloting skills, a commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations and physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions and remote locations. Key Responsibilities: Should be prepared to operate UAVs effectively in extreme and challenging weather environments. This position typically involves 70-80% travel. Responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation related to their tasks, projects, and interactions. Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure the UAV is in proper working condition. Operate drones and associated equipment for data collection, surveying, and inspection purposes. Follow designated flight paths and protocols to achieve accurate data capture and maintain operational safety. Analyze and interpret data collected by the UAV during flights. Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during operations. Maintain accurate records of flight operations, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents. Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to UAV operation, including airspace regulations, safety protocols, and data privacy laws. Communicate effectively with the team to provide updates on flight schedules, data collection, and any potential issues. Assist in the development and improvement of operational procedures and protocols for UAV flights. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Candidate should possess a valid DGCA certification as a drone pilot 2-3 years of experience in piloting UAVs and operating related equipment. Understanding of UAV technology, including hardware and software components. Excellent knowledge of UAV safety protocols and regulations. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic maintenance on UAVs. Proficiency in both Hindi and English languages with excellent writing and verbal communication skills is required for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders and documentation purposes. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
