Milwaukee Electronics is growing our amazing customer service team, and this is no ordinary customer service job! Of course, we’re hoping to find someone friendly, who is a great communicator, and proactive. But, we’re also looking for someone who enjoys applying business acumen to helping our customers succeed! We are the experts at supporting customers through the complexities of PCB assembly at all phases of product development - from prototype to production – and no two orders around here are the same! We quote quickly, accurately, and with a high degree of attention to detail to ensure that our customers know that their assembly, no matter the volume, is important to us. In this high-paced position, you will serve as the key point of contact for new and repeat customers, providing excellent support through phone, email, and web chat communications. You will work with internal teams to ensure a positive customer service throughout the assembly process, including aiding with communication between customers and our technical teams when clarification is required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and actively contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Adapt to changing customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Prepare and manage customer quotes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Accurately enter web orders and new customer information into internal systems.
- Identify and resolve issues related to incomplete customer files prior to order processing.
- Partner with customers to resolve work-in-procress or material kit issues promptly.
- Support outside sales representatives by generating quotes for new customers and custom projects.
- Use phone, email, and online platforms to provide timely and professional customer support.
- Utilize internal systems, the company website, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook); willingness to learn industry-specific software is essential.
- Track and report key performance metrics to support departmental goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- This is a full-time, on-site position; regular and reliable attendance is required.

Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service, administrative support, or quoting/order entry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Comfortable interpreting performance graphs and related data.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to follow written documentation and assess product or order quality.
Additional Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must sign a Non-Compete agreement upon accepting the position.
