Position Summary
The CAR is responsible for providing exceptional concierge customer service for internal and external customers, utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs to provide sales support, as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. S/he is a key front-facing Verellen advocate and facilitates all customer interactions with the company.
Essential Functions
· Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
· Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
· Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
· Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
· Partners with the Engineering team and the COM Department for Custom Products and Customers Own Material for Sales Orders.

Preferred Education and Experience
· Associates degree or higher in related field.
· 3-5 years in Customer Service for Furniture, Fabric or Design industry.
Reports To
The CAR will report to the Customer Service Manager.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional fast paced and demanding office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of required work are as follows, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary as needed. Extended and weekend hours mandatory during spring and fall Furniture Markets.
Travel
Possible, but infrequent if any. Attendance at High Point Market is considered mandatory twice a year. Dates will be provided as they are available each season.
