Key Responsibilities
Serves as liaison between Project Managers and the field electricians to ensure compliance of construction with drawings and specifications
Coordinating and scheduling the day-to-day job activities of employees and subcontractors in accordance with job-specific scopes of work being performed on time and within budget
Maintain a "safety first" example and help implement and interpret safety policies, procedures, and programs
Monitor and resolve matters relating to work procedures, complaints, damages, accidents, and delays
Implementing and monitoring the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics
Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
Build and maintain relationships with the builder, homeowners, and coworkers
Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the builder to identify and resolve any conflicts
Ensure all installations meet quality and code standards
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must have 3 - 5 years prior electrical superintendent work for the single-family new residential construction industry
Must have a current Wireman or Journeyman level license
Ability to organize, prioritize work, communicate well, deliver quality work and build relationships with homeowners, builders, and coworkers
Familiarity with computers and managing a large amount of paperwork
Perform the physical demands of the position
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving, and drug screen
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may require some portion of the day on Saturday, emergency, and "on call" time as needed
High school diploma or the equivalent
Electrical Journeyman or Wireman's license
