Job Title: Cross functional Tester

Shift Timings: 12 PM - 9 PM

Location: Remote, Work from Home

Experience required: 5 to 9 years

We are looking for a highly skilled Cross functional Tester with 5–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software QA, a deep understanding of automation frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed robust, scalable, and reusable automation test frameworks from scratch
• Created, maintained, and executed automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications
• Collaborated closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Performed regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across various platforms
• Balanced 50% automation and 50% manual testing during sprint deliverables, with flexibility to scale up to 80% manual testing based on project needs
• Analysed test results, identified bugs, and reported defects with clear documentation and reproducible steps
• Participated actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies
• Contributed to CI/CD processes, integrating test suites into automated pipelines for continuous delivery
• Maintained and ensured the stability of test environments and test data
• Reported directly to the Test Manager, providing regular updates on testing status, risks, and key quality indicators
• Performed root cause analysis on production issues and implemented enhancements to increase test coverage and prevent recurrence

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Katalon , data driven framework.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript for scripting test cases
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with latest AI Testing tools
• ISTQB or similar certification
