We are and American Media company looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Our new team member must also have experience using AI tools for building front or back-end projects and a strong desire to stay on the bleeding edge of what AI can bring to development efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and AI tools (goal: providing assistance and efficiency to projects).
• Collaborate with management to define, design, and create new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and some use of AI tools, but most importantly, willingness and curiosity to continue to hone AI use in adding efficiency to company’s web development needs.
• Understanding of CSS, html, and basic experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js as well as optimization for web, mobile and other devices
• Basic understanding of SEO as related to structure and performance of website.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ensuring data security and integrity.
• Working understanding of server maintenance, although our servers are fully managed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills in English (Written and Verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python).
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
