About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, an innovative language learning platform focused on teaching languages through reading. In this role, you'll work on our web application built with React, our mobile app developed with React Native, and handle DevOps responsibilities on our AWS and MongoDB infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Maintain and enhance our React-based web application, ensuring excellent user experience across our language learning platform
• Mobile Development: Contribute to our React Native mobile app, maintaining feature parity with the web version while optimizing for mobile experiences
• Backend Integration: Work with our NestJS backend (TypeScript) to build and maintain APIs supporting both web and mobile clients
• DevOps Management: Handle deployment, infrastructure management, and monitoring using AWS services and MongoDB
• Cross-Platform Features: Develop features that work seamlessly across web and mobile platforms, particularly for our core learning functionalities
• Performance Optimization: Ensure both web and mobile applications perform optimally with attention to loading times and resource usage

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web and mobile development
• React & React Native: Strong experience building and maintaining applications with React and React Native
• TypeScript/JavaScript​: Deep knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript for both frontend and backend developmen
• tState Management: Experience with Redux (or Redux Toolkit) for state management across complex application
• sRESTful APIs: Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling authentication flow
• sAWS Services: Familiarity with AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, CloudFront, etc.
• )MongoDB: Experience with MongoDB for database operations and optimizatio
• nDevOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solution
• sAuthentication Systems: Experience with authentication systems such as OAuth or custom token-based solution
• sHTML/CSS: Strong fundamentals in responsive web design, able to deliver pixel-perfect design
• sAI Tools: Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor to enhance productivit
