Hours of Work : 40 Days Of Week : M-F Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: The MA Clinic Coordinator works under the general direction of the Physician or Nursing Personnel and reports directly to the Office Manager. Must be able to provide health care to individuals and perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the Physician. Participates in patient education and enters appropriate records into patients' charts. Also performs all other duties assigned within the scope of their licensure. Your Job Requirements: * Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program preferred * Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants Your Job Responsibilities : * Assists physicians and/or nurses in providing nursing care to patients in accordance with clinic policies and procedures; Takes patient history, height, weight, temperature and blood pressure. * Ensures all appropriate paperwork is completed and consents signed prior to patient's surgery. * Maintains an adequate inventory of medical supplies and drugs; orders supplies when indicated. * Maintains, completes and copies all shot records. * May perform intramuscular, intradermal, or subcutaneous injections if certified and approved by the physician; * After administering injections, the action must be documented in the patients' medical record, and countersigned by the physician. * Records and signs all information in the patient's medical record.
