Job Description
Collin County has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This position is responsible for proactively sourcing for open positions within the county by partnering with local universities, organizations, and recruitment networks. The individual will post open positions to multiple job boards and social media platforms, and educate candidates on the benefits, compensation, and advantages of working for Collin County. This individual will also work closely with hiring managers regarding the specific requirements of their open position, and develop a recruiting strategy. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will educate hiring managers on each step of the recruitment process by developing and delivering trainings, and assisting them through the process as needed. They will also assist candidates through each step of the recruitment process and may conduct interviews. They will be required to keep manager informed of all recruiting efforts including reporting daily and weekly metrics. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the position include knowledge in a related field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
Must possess superior communication skills to build strong networking relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. The ability to take ownership over projects and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential for this position. This is an in-person position stationed in the Human Resource Department; candidate must possess the ability to maintain confidentially at all times. Experience in the field of Talent Acquisition preferred.
