Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead automation projects involving PLC, HMI, SCADA,

and DCS/DeltaV platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting industrial

control systems, leading project teams, and ensuring seamless automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA control systems.

• Lead project teams and interact with clients to understand automation needs.

• Develop control system architectures, schematic diagrams, and programming solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimized performance.

• Implement industrial networking solutions (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.).

• Oversee project execution, financials, and scheduling while ensuring project profitability.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical

Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering.

• Technical Expertise:

o PLC programming: Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon.

o DCS platforms: Emerson DeltaV (minimum 2-3 years recent experience).

o HMI/SCADA systems: FactoryTalk, PlantPAX, Aveva, Ignition, GE iFIX, Siemens WinCC.

o Networking & Industrial Protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus.

o Programming Languages: Ladder Logic, VBA, .NET, SQL, Python.

o Electrical Design: Control panels, power distribution under 480V, AutoCAD.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Building Automation, Food &

Beverage, Water Treatment, and General Manufacturing.

• Project management experience (PMP certification is a plus).

• Familiarity with Batch/Recipes, OEE, MES, and ERP systems.

Travel & Work Environment:

• Travel: Up to 25% (mostly local to Dallas).

• Work Setup: Standard office and industrial environments; requires ability to lift, push, pull, and

mount/dismount equipment.

Interview Process:

• Two rounds of Zoom interviews with technical and leadership teams.
