Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
This role involves supporting current production by handling escalated maintenance and controls engineering issues to ensure continuous operation of production lines.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot PLCs frequently, focusing on I/O mapping and quick resolution of issues using common safety language.
* Address issues with FANUC robots used in assembly, pick and place, and weld applications.
* Resolve problems with HMI applications utilizing visual indicators.
* Troubleshoot vision systems effectively.
* Interface with communication media, including Devicenet and Ethernet IP configurations.
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a controls automation engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot Rockwell, Siemens, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
* Experience with FANUC robots and automation systems.
* Proficiency in working with HMI and Keyence vision systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Automotive assembly processes experience preferred.
* Basic understanding of programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
* Vision systems experience, preferably with Keyence.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
