Key Accountabilities
We are seeking a highly motivated Operational Controller to be the financial backbone of our manufacturing operations for the Vision (spectacle lenses) business in India. As an integral part of our growth strategy, you will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, financial integrity, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Governance:
• Drive financial controls and compliance within manufacturing operations.
• Monitor budgetary adherence and provide insights for cost optimization.
2. Performance Analysis:
• Analyze operational performance metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
3. Strategic Demand Planning & Capacity utilization:
• Work closely with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide financial input for decision-making on capacity expansion, process optimization, and technology investments.
4. Forecasting and Reporting:
• Develop accurate and timely financial forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare insightful reports for senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and R&D teams to align financial strategies to optimize costs and drive plant efficiency.
• Foster a culture of financial awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate business initiatives and investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
• MBA/CA/CPA or other master’s degree in finance/accounting/analytics.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing & plant finance.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation.
• Experience with ERP systems including SAP/S4HANA.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
