We are growing and looking for new employees like you! SUMMARY The Controller leads our accounting and financial operations. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, NetSuite G/L and the monthly close process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include but are not limited to the following: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes within NetSuite ERP/GL. Document, maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets. Lead financial reporting activities. Lead cash management and daily banking activities. Ensure compliance with Telecom tax regulations, external audits, and financial reporting requirements. Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership and training, including the A/P and A/R functions. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and decision-making. Liaise with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in accounting, (CPA required). 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2+ years as a Controller. (Telecommunications experience is a PLUS) Proven expertise in NetSuite ERP, including monthly closing, importing/exporting of data and reporting. (Rev.io experience is a PLUS) Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience managing audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Ability to "get their hands dirty" and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Telecommunications or SaaS Ability to close the books in NetSuite Advanced Knowledge of Excel.
