Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Controller located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Controller will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks will include budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable management, and financial analysis. The Controller will collaborate with different departments to streamline financial processes and support decision-making.

Qualifications
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficiency in maintaining financial records and preparing financial reports
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and compliance
  • Skills in accounts payable and receivable management
  • Ability to perform month-end and year-end closings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
