The Contract Manager position requires excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written), an understanding of contractual and legal terms, attention to detail, and adherence to policy and process while maintaining flexibility to handle unusual circumstances. This position requires a solid working knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) applications with experience using Agiloft being a plus.

The ideal candidate will work at all levels of the company, is self-motivated and able to work independently while understanding when to seek advice from their principal attorney, and quickly learn Lummus’ business practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining database of contracts
  • Working closely with legal team to ensure all contracts are accurately uploaded into the CLM system at appropriate time during the contract lifecycle
  • Uploading older, active contracts (signed agreements)
  • Supporting internal clients, including working closely with Project Controls, throughout the life of projects, including change orders, amendments, etc.
  • Oversight of contracts, other than procurement, to adhere to legal requirements, with authority to work with clients to correct
  • Provide basic support to internal users of Agiloft CLM application
  • Client base is primarily in US and EU; will need to adjust availability to support the teams
  • Go-to person for locating historical agreements
  • Maintaining hard copies (originals) where required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent where the law program is duly recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • 0-3 years of Post-Qualification Experience
  • Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Strong working knowledge of office systems including Microsoft Office applications

Desirable (But Not Required) Experience/Skills

  • Experience using Agiloft CLM
  • Intermediate Excel skills - vLookup, Pivot tables, etc.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint
