CONTENT CREATOR ASSISTANT (REMOTE/HYBRID)
Role: Content Creator Assistant
Location: Remote/Hybrid (must be available and online for a 3-hour block between 9am-1pm ET, located in Greater Boston for occasional in-person team gatherings)
Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week
Timeline: Flexibility with starting time, but early to mid May 2025 preferred
Compensation: This is a part-time hourly contractor role. Compensation is $22/hr.

ABOUT THE JOB
We’re looking for a multi-talented individual with strong attention to detail and organization skills to join the Extra Petite / @jeanwang team. You’ll work in an assistant role to help Jean on a daily basis in creating content on multiple platforms. You'll report to Jean and take direction from our part-time Content Manager.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll be working directly with Jean as she plans, organizes, and creates content for our channels as well as deliverables for campaigns with our brand partners. You’ll be getting a firsthand look into the content creation space—experience that could be valuable in future roles at agencies or on brand teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Job can be fully remote but hours are on East Coast time. Preferred starting time is 9AM EST with 3 to 4 hours daily.
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to tone of voice. Receptive to team feedback and able to retain and consistently apply feedback.
- High level of organization (e.g. calendar management) and attention to details
- Willingness and ability to learn new platforms quickly, such as Wordpress, LTK, Canva and Tailwind. Familiarity with any of these platforms is a plus, in particular LTK as a shopper / user.
- Familiar with the current version of Instagram and the latest features
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft daily LTK content and blog posts following basic content outlines given, with attention to detail per our internal guidelines and industry best practices
- Assist in keeping the team on schedule with our calendar of project checkpoints, deadlines, and personal appointments. Note reminders of upcoming content events (e.g. sales or brand promos), deliverables and potential red flags while drafting content
- Engage with our audience’s comments & questions on the blog and social media after posts go live using our brand tone of voice
- Schedule Pinterest posts using relevant keywords via apps like Tailwind
- Administrative tasks including occasionally contacting brand customer service, package tracking
- Occasional ad hoc personal assistant tasks such as scheduling appointments, placing orders
