Our financial services client is seeking a strategic and technically adept Content and Public Web Product Manager. This role is critical in building and scaling industry-leading lending omni-channel applications and experiences. The Content and Public Web Product Manager will work in a hybrid capacity. This is a freelance to fulltime opportunity.
Location: This role is hybrid 2 days onsite. The candidate should be located within a commutable distance to one of the offices in NYC, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, DE, or Irving, TX.
The Content and Public Web Product Manager will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap powers their communications platform for external messaging to leads and customers. Partnering closely with marketing teams, this role will manage a portfolio of product enhancements, including the developing and optimization of their unauthenticated content and public web platform. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of web content strategy, user experience and cross-functional collaboration.
Content And Public Web Product Manager Responsibilities
- Work with development teams, business teams, and external partners as you develop and communicate shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
- Intimately learn and understand the technical details of our Content Management and Web Support capabilities and systems to become not only an expert in them, but also understand the underlying data sources and how product and data science teams use them to build on our growth and risk goals.
- Lead all ongoing and quarterly roadmap planning based on the annual plan. Manage the prioritization process to ensure we are supporting our customer, product and data science teams' need to build and iterate quickly.
- Establish and document clear requirements, most of which will be influenced by the needs of the product teams.
- Oversee the success of the team's projects - manage project timelines, achieve outcomes with your engineering, user experience, and analytics partners.
- Provide and consume detailed, data-driven analysis to support effective decisions that impact our use of marketing technology and customer communications
- Owner of several significant portions of our content management technology backlog, enabling effective, timely, personalized web and mobile interactions with customers and prospects.
- Communicate with external stakeholders regularly to unblock, communicate, and translate feedback bidirectionally about the progress
Content And Public Web Product Manager Requirements
- 5+ year(s) of experience and at least 2-3 of that as a product manager - preference for Product Managers with content and unauthenticated web experience.
- Collaboration - this is a cross-functional role, and you need to be aligned with your marketing and communication partners as architectural and prioritization decisions are made. You understand the needs of different teams, drive clarity in decision making, and can tailor your communications
- Strong interest in technical challenges, including a desire to poke around in the code for your learning, and working on a broader platform team that is building tools and services for our customers
- Experience in lending or financial services / technology
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
