Role Purpose:

To develop and manage retail/e-tailers, Telco, and CBA partners (B2B2C) primarily in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and other countries across the region, ensuring the attainment of sales goals and business development objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Consumer Channel Sales Manager, your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying, evaluating, negotiating, managing, and activating partnerships to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Building and growing a strong network of partners and affiliates with potential distribution channels.
  • Developing new CBA/POSA/ESD/Boxes accounts and defining channel strategies for dedicated countries across Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and other countries across the region.
  • Developing strong business relationships with strategic retailer/e-tailer partners to define sales strategies, targets, and business growth.
  • Working cross-functionally with other teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Customer Success, to ensure customer needs are met and revenue goals are achieved.
  • Arranging regular partner communications to drive business growth, discussing plans, bundling, stock, and activities to generate revenue.
  • Measuring and managing KPIs for accounts to ensure they are achieved.
  • Continuously measuring ROI and revenue versus target objectives for campaigns.
  • Preparing and delivering weekly reports to support management decisions.
  • Gathering and recording timely sales forecasts, including new business pipelines.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both customers and internal colleagues.
  • Conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring a smooth flow of processes involved in the launch of Consumer Products in the country, including layout checks, communications with the HQ product marketing team, and price corrections.
  • Conducting constant competitor analysis and working on Channel and Sales Incentive promotions to stay competitive.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software sales, distribution, new business development, or partnership development.
  • A successful track record in sales, business development (preferably in the cybersecurity space across multiple verticals), client management, and project management in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven experience in exceeding sales targets and business goals for B2C and B2B2C solutions (including but not limited to cybersecurity).
  • Significant exposure to the software industry, with a strong affinity for digital solutions and the use of digital technologies to transform business models and create new value-producing opportunities.
  • Strong experience in IT, software, cloud, and IoT platforms.
  • Advanced storytelling skills with the ability to present at conferences and executive-level engagements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated competencies in dealing with ambiguity, working cross-functionally, and financial acumen.
  • Fluent in English (additional Southeast Asian languages will be advantageous).
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
