Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Project Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring all project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project flow and timely delivery. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, fostering clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget breakdowns.
• Track project expenses and manage budget performance, proactively addressing cost discrepancies to maintain financial control.
• Regularly monitor on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and local regulations.
• Identify potential risks or issues early in the process and develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them, ensuring projects remain on track.
• Produce regular progress reports, offering clear and concise updates to clients and key stakeholders.
• Champion a collaborative, problem-solving approach, ensuring each phase of the project is executed efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare bids for current projects while proactively pursuing new business opportunities to expand the project pipeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across all aspects of project management.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively engage with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline project processes.
• Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Must be able to reliably travel to Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Salary:
