Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects during all phases – conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packages
• Work closely with project managers, preconstruction, and business development teams to support competitive proposals
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and project hand-offs to ensure alignment with construction teams

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of local subcontractor market and pricing trends
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Timberline, or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit preconstruction team
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
