Job Title: CNC Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Manufacturing Engineer, where you will be responsible for overseeing the entire 4/5 axis machining process. This role involves work holding selection and design, CAM programming and simulation, collaboration with the QC department to refine inspection processes, and providing support to shop floor personnel during part launches.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire 4/5 axis machining process.
- Select and design workholding solutions.
- Program and simulate using CAM software.
- Collaborate with the QC department to refine inspection processes.
- Support shop floor personnel during part launches.
Essential Skills
- Mastery of Mastercam for simultaneous 5 axis milling.
- Extensive expertise in designing intricate workholding solutions for complex parts.
- Knowledge of modern cutting tool and tool holding systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming for 5 Axis Milling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hard metal machining is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Vericut, Solidworks, and Mill/Turn operations is a plus.
- Experience designing complex workholding for challenging parts.
- Knowledgeable in modern cutting tool and tool holding systems.
Work Environment
Work in a very clean and sophisticated CNC facility with over 100 different manufacturing machinery. The facility is moving towards more automation for the plant. When fully operational, the team operates on five 10-hour shifts, with guaranteed 10 hours of overtime per week. Engineer roles are eligible to acquire overtime. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
