Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operationalize cloud security solutions and tools in AWS and/or Azure, including backend integrations with platforms like PING, Splunk, SOAR, and threat intelligence systems.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance enterprise security architecture to address emerging threats, aligning cybersecurity strategies with business and IT risk objectives.
• Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives for cloud security technologies, and oversee their deployment and operational readiness.
• Embed security into all stages of the application and infrastructure lifecycle by collaborating with cross-functional teams and promoting DevSecOps and SSDLC best practices.
• Develop scalable security operation models and produce comprehensive documentation to support transition to operations and long-term maintenance.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Hands-on experience with Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) using Java, Python, C#, .NET, and Kotlin.
• Professional certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools including GitLab/GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security services like AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Azure Sentinel, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) in AWS and Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of application security concepts including code analysis, threat modeling, and API security.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and process flows.
