Responsibilities:
Client Servicing
- Provide strategic counsel to key clients across enterprise technology, consumer tech, and emerging technology sectors & serve as a trusted advisor on industry trends and competitor activities
- Manage & grow senior-level client relationships in software development, hardware companies, and digital innovation firms
- Assure internal & external stakeholders are aligned on campaign objectives and deliverables
- Negotiate & manage client expectations & satisfaction across diverse tech accounts
- Participate in, and may drive, communication planning for technology brands and products
- Manages and tracks budgets ensuring programs are delivered on budget and within client's expectations
- Ensure flawless execution of all program elements across multichannel programs that incorporate digital and social media communications for technology clients
Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking
- Develop & execute integrated communication plans for enterprise technology, consumer tech, and tech startups
- Contribute to agency strategic planning initiatives, with a focus on trends across B2B tech, consumer tech, and emerging technology sectors
- Participate in budget & resource management & tracking team utilization
- Drive cross-team integration/collaboration on diverse tech client accounts
- Build awareness & showcase capabilities, talent & results internally & externally
- Ability to detect and mitigate possible issues, conflicts, and disruptions in the business, particularly in fast-paced tech industries
New Business Development
- Assess the validity and value of new & organic growth opportunities across enterprise technology, consumer tech, and emerging technology sectors
- Work with the leadership team to identify new opportunities and determined if a prospective business qualifies for pursuit
- Responsible for some existing account growth and diversification metrics
- Begin coordinating and pursuing cross-account/practice & global business opportunities in technology communications
- Serve as project manager in preparation & delivery of organic growth or new business proposal content & in-person pitch meetings for diverse tech clients
- Share industry POV and strong understanding of shifts and opportunities in the competitive agency landscape across multiple tech sectors
- Inform, educate & influence existing and potential future clients directly on our agency's value and positioning relative to competing agencies in technology spaces
Content and Partnerships
- Build & grow relationships with key, senior-level media/influencers across enterprise technology, consumer tech, and emerging technology industries
- Identify global, digital & social communication trends; educate clients/agency on their relevance to various tech products and services
- Conceive & tell strategic stories apart from client business milestones, focusing on creating engaging narratives for technology brands
- Manage junior-level staff on global influencer processes & trends across multiple tech sectors
- Solicit & share feedback/perception from stakeholders regarding client(s), competition & position in the industry to counsel clients & inform actions
- Work with junior team members to guide them on editorial content creation for technology brands and products
Digital & Social Acumen
- Identify & drive digital/social media strategies for clients across tech sectors; either standalone or as elements of communication plans
- Support the establishment of social media objectives and goals across diverse tech accounts
- Articulate emerging media platforms & if/how they meet client's business needs in enterprise technology, consumer tech, and emerging technology spaces
- Lead clients in understanding the importance of social media engagement for various technology brands
People Leadership
- Mentor and motivate staff with the goal of retention and development, fostering expertise in technology PR and communications
- Oversee resource allocation across team including staffing/hiring/onboarding new talent
- Model & hold team accountable to demonstrating agency values
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience preferably from a PR / integrated communication agency setting environment, with experience in enterprise technology, consumer tech, and emerging technology accounts
- Sound knowledge and passion for technology sectors, including software development, AI, cloud computing, and digital transformation
- Good understanding of the Asian media landscape including strong relationships with Singapore-based reporters and media covering technology beats
- A track record of running successful campaigns in Asia for technology brands and products
- Experience in community management, influencer engagement and social media campaigns across diverse tech client portfolios
- Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from the requirement of handling multiple tasks across various fast-paced technology industries
- Strong presentation and consulting skills, business development skills, along with a good track-record of winning business pitches for technology accounts
- Roll your sleeves up, lead-from-the-front style leadership. Does more than directs
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required. A second regional language such as Mandarin would be a bonus
