We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.
Job Summary: The Claims Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate coordination of damage claims at our state-of-the-art Li-ion battery facility in DeSoto, KS. In this role, you will verify documents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor damaged materials. You'll also support indirect and direct material receiving to help drive efficient asset recognition. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining a seamless supply chain environment that supports our mission of innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
Essential Duties:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for PECNA damage claims
* Ensure efficient claims process by accurately inputting and maintaining data on claims asset control tracker
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track damage efficiently and accurately
* Collaborate with risk management team and insurance adjuster to gather and verify information to support claims investigations
* Monitor and track claim status, following up with cross-functional team members as needed
* Report claims and reorder status to cross-functional team members on weekly basis
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring legitimacy of each claim
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency of claim process
* Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data privacy and security standards
* Collaborate with dock operations team and accounting team to ensure on time receipt in SAP
* Support Logistics Manager on claims and accounting initiatives
* Other tasks as assigned
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
* To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees,' wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education
* Required: High School Diploma or GED
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain experience
* Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
* Experience of damage claim process in Logistical field
* Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
* Demonstrated communication, presentation, and writing skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in particular)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with insurance claim process
* Experience with SAP
