Job Description: Chief Program Manager

Reporting To: Chairperson/Trustee

Location: New Delhi

Education & Experience

• Postgraduate degree with strong English language and digital communication skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, hospital, or healthcare communication sector
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and terminology is essential
• Experience working with National Health Mission (NHM), hospitals, or public relations is an asset

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise junior staff, ensuring high team performance and coordination
• Manage communication and outreach to large populations; maintain detailed response tracking
• Liaise and network with external agencies and partners for collaboration and outreach
• Research, curate, and draft content for print, website, and digital platforms
• Organize and coordinate events such as webinars, seminars, campaigns, and physical programs
• Manage the organization’s website and social media presence, including timely updates
• Support improvements in organizational processes related to patient safety initiatives
• Handle administrative functions including budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting
• Coordinate with trustees and senior members within and outside the organization
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research

• Experience in clinical content creation, especially for Maternal & Newborn Health (MNH) and public education
• Creative, analytical, and capable of ideating and executing communication strategies
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Open to learning and adopting emerging technologies
